Myles, your Personal Tech Advisor

I am the classic go-to-tech guy in the office. During the Internet boom, I was a technology consultant for a policy institute and intellectual property law firm. Later, I switched careers as a result of first-hand experience in providing dementia care for two loved ones. I became a Senior Executive for a long term care campus, obtained my Nursing Home Administrator license, and received Certified Eden Alternative training.

Since outsourced IT companies typically support only senior housing employees, I provided technology support for over three hundred older adults who lived on the campus. One of those older adults happened to be my mother. On Valentines Day in 2016, the Washington Post published a wonderful profile of my mother and myself.

I’ve always been very patient, compassionate, and empathic in working with adults of all ages to utilize technology to fit their needs and enrich their lives.

I believe a basic understanding of technology is a fundamental right, not a privilege. I hope by being your personal tech advisor, I can help you to be more independent yet stay connected to everyday life.
